Play with purpose with Purr N’ Spool—a simple rolling-ball cat toy made using an empty 3D-printing filament spool.
The enclosed ball rolls around the inside of the spool, encouraging your cat to paw, chase and investigate. Openings around the spool allow curious paws to reach the ball while helping to keep it contained during play.
Purr N’ Spool was designed to give empty filament spools another useful life. Each toy uses minimal newly printed material and is packaged using cardboard reused from our filament boxes.

Some of the first Purr N’ Spool toys will be donated to a local cat rescue. Sales of the remaining toys will help cover the cost of making and donating more.
Limited availability: Each toy begins with a suitable empty filament spool, so quantities are limited. Spool style, markings and colour may vary depending on the reclaimed materials available.
